The Avenue from top. Gates and lodge (built 1898) and gas lamp. Four people. Also shows 62 Avenue Road and 64 Avenue Road on left, and top of Avenue Road. In winter. Another copy, belonging to Simon Alderton, has white italic title bottom centre ‘Witham. The Avenue Lodge’; hard to tell if handwritten or printed (same style as M437 of Newland Street and M487 of church). Addressed to Mademoiselle Margetter[?], Boulevard Taubren[?], pres de la rue Colbert, Lille, Nord, France.
