Bottom of Church Street with van full of barrels, and people

Taken: 1927 on, Source: David (Bud) Smith, Ref: M589

Bottom of Church Street with van full of barrels, perhaps holding vinegar, and people. Some of the information is from Mrs Dorothy Ireland (oral history tape 7). Up road in distance, Woolpack public house (7 Church Street). Right side of road, left to right, about 14 Church Street (with white gable), 12 Church Street (possibly fruit shop but this might be 10b, between 12 and 10), 10 Church Street (with library sign, probably Alderton’s newsagents), 8 Church Street, Fuller’s shop (butchers; first appeared in directory 1929, perhaps afterwards a fish shop?), 6 Church Street (house), 4 Church Street (house, Oakville).
