Left hand side of road, left to right, 88 Newland Street (‘BEARD’), 86 Newland Street (with two awnings), 84 Newland Street (single storey, post office), 82 Newland Street (single storey with gable and awning), 78 Newland Street (with bay window ground floor). Facing down the street left of AA sign, 64 Newland Street (‘BELLAMY CHEMIST’, came c. 1914). On right, signs probably outside yard at 97 Newland Street read ‘GARAGE / REPAIR WORKS’, and ‘CHAS WARREN / MOTOR MARINE & / GENERAL ENGINEER’. He was here in 1922-1929 directories.
