Wass on sign; also William Bright & Sons on building), part of 130 Newland Street (forge), the Crotchet (part of 130 Newland Street, H Hart on sign), 128 Newland Street, 126 Newland Street (both brick). Right hand side of road, left to right, Carpenters Arms (141 Newland Street (brick, right of telegraph pole), probably 143 Newland Street, 145 Newland Street, 145 Newland Street. Postmarks Coggeshall 25 August 1908 and Cobham 36 August 1908. Addressed to F J Chittenden, South View, Fairmile, Cobham Surrey, and redirected to Mountain View, The Crescent, Bangor. Message reads ‘Thanks’.
