Old Photos of Witham

Bottom of Newland Street looking up, with cart

Taken: 1902-1914, Ref: M2905

The bottom of Newland Street looking up, with a cart in middle. It looks quite like a cart that people have told me was the Council cart.

Left hand side of road, left to right, 124 Newland Street (with two gables), 118-120 Newland Street (small, no gables), 102-116 Newland Street (individual numbers not known, white with gables etc).

Right hand side of road, left to right, the Gables (125-127 Newland Street, with foliage on the porch), 129 Newland Street (two sets of bay windows, doctors’ surgery).

For other information see M230.
