Boys dressed up, probably for Coronation fete at Glebe Crescent, or possibly for Carnival. In front of 22 Glebe Crescent, home of Bob and Vi Brannan and family. Left to right, their son Pete Brannan (born 1943), their son Roger (born c. 1946), their dog Judy, Donald Edwards (son of Connie and Reg of 7 Glebe Crescent). Bob Brannan made up the cart; horse was perhaps won at a fair. They won a first prize. The sign says ‘Off to the Derby’.
