Double decker Eastern National bus at top of Newland Street. It is a Bristol, they ran to Tilbury ferry. Two policemen on the right. In the background, left side of road, left to right, 26 Newland Street, 24 Newland Street, 22 Newland Street, 18 Newland Street (Whitehall cinema). Right hand side of road, 5A Newland Street, 5B Newland Street (together, mansard roof), Red Lion.
