Carnival, early 1930s. Decorated car re ‘Silver Paper’, which won a first prize, with Stanley Howell. Silver paper was collected for Guide Dogs for the Blind and put in a collection box outside Bellamy’s chemists at 64 Newland Street. Stanley was born in Norfolk in 1903 and died in 1944 after being invalided out of the RAF.
