Chipping Hill and forge looking west

Taken: 1918-1923, Ref: M1978

Chipping Hill and the forge looking west. On left hand side of road, probably 39 Chipping Hill. On right hand side, left to right, 34 Chipping Hill, 32 Chipping Hill (these two demolished 1932), 18 Chipping Hill and forge in centre, White Horse (2 Church Street) on right with parish church behind, and wall of Bramstons (16 Chipping Hill) far right. Edward Legg’s info says ‘dated 23 Aug 1923’, rather than ‘postmarked’ that date, so not sure what it refers to.
