Right of them behind trees. is 8 Chipping Hill (Temples, since demolished for new road). A man in front, cart on the road. Picket fence along the left side of road with what looks like a trench along the road outside the fence. Postmark Leytonstone 2 August 1908. Addressed to ‘Mrs Maine, 2 Cheriton Villa, Mornington Road, Chingford, Essex’. Message reads ‘Dear Mrs M., Sorry but shall not be able to come Sunday. Will write later on & explain. Love, Em.’
