Dear Mr and Mrs Jeffs, You will be pleased to hear I am feeling a little better. This is a lovely place here, all country lanes. The air is far better than sleepy old Bedford. I’m afraid I shall not want to come back from Bedford. Best wishes from Dorothy’.
