Corner of Newland Street and Collingwood Road. Lorry on right has registration number 2957 HK. This was registered on 1 December 1957 to R H Beadle, Oakdene, Gt Totham (agent ??? Motor Co., Sudbury). It was a Bedford lorry, chassis D4A1/18867. Info from ERO C/DF 11/281. In background, left to right, 44 Newland Street (four windows, above back of said lorry, demolished c 1966), 42 Newland Street (tall, three windows, Spurge’s, demolished c 1966), 40 Newland Street (on corner, Winch), small bit of building in Lockram Lane (far right). A dog is crossing the road.
