Diesel locomotive and old signal box

Taken: 1956-1960, Ref: M2244

Diesel locomotive, with old signal box behind. Early diesel but not the first sort, has the newer logo inside the circle that was used 1956-67. Taken from the old turntable that was used for horse and trucks. Can see brick hut for ashes on Brantree line to right of signal box. Probably same occasion as M2240, M2241, and M2245. John Newman advised that diesels probably arrived in the late 1950s.
