A relative of theirs from the Midlands (perhaps a brother) asked David, who was driving him in a taxi, to dispose of them about the 1980s, perhaps when the sisters moved to a home or when one died., Ref: M2173

Dog in path, probably from 51 Guithavon Street to the street. The Croxalls moved there c 1931. Was in small snapshot album which has on the back ‘Butcher’s Studios, Witham. Same Day Service. Developing, Printing, Enlarging’ (George Butcher came mid-1920s).
