Photographer: Roy Gage, Taken: September 1956, Source: Roy Gage, Ref: M874

Cooper Taber (seed company in Station Road). Turning or moving seed on drying floor, top floor of square part of prizewinning glass building, built in 1956. Seed was turned to distribute heat and then shovelled towards hoppers in middle of floor to go down to next floor. Bill Robinson of Easton Road (left) and Gerard Causarde (a French student probably).
