Fire at Constitutional club in 1910, from Newland Street, the building is still standing, with the clock. Left to right, part of 94 Newland Street (with gable), 92 Newland Street (door in middle), 90 Newland Street (Dibben), Constitutional Club, 88 Newland Street (Beard). Postmark 3 March 1910. Addressed to Miss Norman, c/o Miss Laver, Butterfields, Latchingdon, nr Maldon, Essex. Message reads ‘D.A. was that photo in the parcel as I did not have any note or anything from you with love Ant’.
