This registration was given on 16 September 1947 to Essex County Constabulary for an AJS cycle, so it must have been re-used for the fire engine. Info from ERO C/DF 11/46. In the background, end wall of 143 Newland Street (far left), and 149 Newland Street and 151 Newland Street (together, behind fire engine), and sign for the Swan.
