Fire engine in Highfields Road near the Co-op creamery, general view. The creamery is off the picture to the right. The hedge was on fire. The same event as M2219. The fire engine has registration number XTW 934. This was registered on 15 January 1954 to ‘Essex CF Brigade, 67 Rayleigh Road, Hutton’. It was a Dennis fire appliance, chassis 3812 F16. Info from ERO C/DF 11/106. The lorry, belonging to the CWS, has registation number FLA or FPA 506, which is not an Essex number.
