Garages between Avenue Road and the Avenue.
Left to right, Glover’s garage (extreme left, white). British Legion Hall (curved roof, behind the Shell signs, opened 1957). Low brick building (perhaps Government offices). The former Rowley’s Rooms/Grove Hall (gable, low part in front, with chimney). Hurrell and Beardwell’s garage) with the long shop window; one of the Art deco vases was still there until recently (2023) but I think it may have gone now.
