From left to right, front row: Olive Stock (later Mrs Bell), Irene Wilsher (later Mrs Stroud), Violet Woodwards, Cynthia Baxter. Second row: Betty Speight, Rosemary Stock, Peggy Saunders, Joan Merrick or Eileen Truman. Third row: Doris LaPage, Pat Rushen (later Mrs Stapleton), Barbara Rice, Bella Halliday. Fourth row: Sheila Stoneham (later Mrs Amess), Gladys Gaffer, Edie Adams, Doris Turnage (long hair) (later Mrs Thorogood). Fifth row: Louise Lark, Hilda Joan Hawks, Daphne Prior (with ribbon; moved to Braintree; possibly killed in bombing).
