A relative of theirs from the Midlands (perhaps a brother) asked David, who was driving him in a taxi, to dispose of them about the 1980s, perhaps when the sisters moved to a home or when one died., Ref: M2171

Ground floor of front of house 51 Guithavon Street, to which the Croxalls moved c 1931 (identified from air photos, electoral registers etc). They added the bay windows etc (see M2174 for the house before that happened). Was in small snapshot album which has on the back ‘Butcher’s Studios, Witham. Same Day Service. Developing, Printing, Enlarging’ (George Butcher came mid-1920s).
