Group from Girls National School. This I copied from a photocopy of an undated newspaper cutting lent by Rose Burch. The caption said that it was from Dulcie Brand of Elizabeth Avenue, then aged 11. Not all the names were known but the back row included Edie Larke, Barbara Smith, Edie Brown, Joan Dakin and Vera Parmenter, the middle row Gwen Wolf, Vera Askew, Kitty Lamb, Ruby Southgate and Phyllis Christie, and the front row Dulcie Brand (far left), Daphne Russell, Dorrie Rushen, Eileen Haygreen, Ruby Tyrell, Flossie Rushen, Jean Backler and Freda Gale. The teacher was Miss Muriel Bright.
