Guithavon Street, one side only. Left to right, roof and chimneys of 14 Guithavon Street (Parsonage), All Saints Church, Guithavon Street Schools, 10 Guithavon Street (part of school), 8 Guithavon Street, 6 Guithavon Street (the last two a pair). Sent by Alice Green of the shop at 13 Newland Street, to her sister Ethel Green at Woodham Walter. The flagpole was given by Admiral Luard in 1907 according to the minutes (and also a Union Jack). Postmark 1904. Addressed to Miss E Green, Burnt House, Woodham Walter, Nr Maldon, Essex. Message reads ‘Dear E Will you ask Mr Rolfe if he will please call for hamper if he goes to Hatfield tomorrow as there is a parcel in it thanks for blouse sent will let you know about next week love to all from Alice’.
