Taken: 1902, Source: Braintree and Witham Times 14 January 1972 page 2. Said to be supplied by Howbridge School, Ref: M1316

Maldon Road decorated for 1902 Coronation. Boy in front is William Raven, later husband of Edith Raven. On left the pair of houses behind the Union Jack are probably 21-23 Maldon Road. Not sure about the place on the left with the porch, must be at 7-19 Maldon Road. Extreme right is the Baptist chapel (later Chapel House) with premises at 4 Maldon Road and 6-18 Maldon Road beyond it.
