Marriage of John[?] Taber and Marian Payne at parish church. They were parents of ‘Todge Taber’. The Tabers were from Rivenhall, especially Hoo Hall, and founded the seed firm that became Cooper Taber of Avenue Road in Witham. The bride was a daughter of Dr Payne (probably Frank Cobham Payne) of High House, Witham (part of 5 Newland Street).
