Left hand side of road, left to right, small part of 50 Newland Street (3 storey), 48 Newland Street (two white gables, Gage, who had left by 1933), 46 Newland Street (one gable and crane), 44 Newland Street (three storey, behind telegraph pole), 42 Newland Street (three-storey taller, with awnings), 40 Newland Street (two-storey). Right hand side of road, White Hart hotel. Lorry outside 46 probably says ‘Witham Corn Stores) over cab.
