Mr Putman working at Glover’s garage, on the corner of Avenue and Newland Street. He hired cars out and ran the garage and pumps. They stopped doing petrol after he left. The car he is working on has registration number 109 DVW. This was registered on 23 July 1955 to ‘Mayborn[?] Products Ltd., Byron Works, Berymans Lane, Sydenham, SE 6 (agent, Doe Bros, Maldon)’.
