Narrow part of Newland Street with car and a CWS (Co-operative Wholesale Society) milk lorry, about to turn down Guithavon Street to go to the Co-op creamery in Highfields Road. It has registration number PLA 506 which is not an Essex number. In the background, on the left, left to right, is 64 Newland Street (Bellamy), 62 Newland Street (four windows) and 60 Newland Street (two windows). On the right, left to right, are the White Hart (gable), 39 Newland Street, 41 Newland Street (together, tall), 43 Newland Street, 45 Newland Street, and 47 Newland Street (the latter with bow windows being part of the Spread Eagle.
