Narrow part of Newland Street, with buildings demolished for construction of Newlands precinct. Single storey building remaining is 50 Newland Street (Budgen, grocer). Others, from left to right, starting right of centre, are 42 Newland Street (Home and Colonial), 40 Newland Street (projecting), the George (36 Newland Street, with gables), 32 Newland Street, 30 Newland Street, 28 Newland Street (these two joined), 26 Newland Street (extreme right).
