St Nicholas church from south-west. Man in door with bowler hat. Postmark 4 May 1911. Addressed to Miss A Norman, c/o Miss Laver, “Butterfields”, Latchingdon, mr Maldon, Essex. Message reads ‘D A, I have not had chance to get down town to get that which I promised you yet but will get it as soon as I can I saw Uncle Ted down at home last Sunday poor old chap he isn’t half cut about in fact I shouldn’t have known him if I hadn’t expected to see him with best love Ted’.
