Include Miss Springett (extreme left), Phyllis Atkins (in centre, sitting on throne, in black hat, portraying ‘Dame Jones’; she lived in Avenue Road. Her mother was a widow; they were related to Councillor Esmond Smith), Ruth Peecock (the left hand one of the two sitting in front; her father was Henry Beck Peecock, manager of Barclays bank). Names mostly from Lucy Croxall.
