Prefabs in Bramston Green

Taken: 1950s or 1960s, Ref: M2995

Bramston Green, with prefabs. A view from one of the gardens. They were put up after the Second World War to help deal with the housing shortage. These ones were demolished in 1982. Most of the residents had very much enjoyed living in them. In some parts of the country, they still survive.
