The railway station from the embankment, looking east. Probably the stationmaster’s house behind, in the centre (see M2739). Barrows lined up on the platform. 

Postmark, London SW1 5 June [can’t see year]. Addressed to ‘Miss B Saddleton, The Grapes Hotel, Chalkwell Road, Milton Regis, Nr Sittingbourne, Kent’. Message reads ‘5/6/18 Dear Bess, Having a jolly time. Glorious weather. Hope you are well. Love, George’.
