Skiing at Chateau d’Oex. Stamp and postmark removed. Addressed to Mrs Sneezum, Park Chase, Witham, Essex, Angleterre. Message reads ‘A very happy Christmas to you & I hope not much Rheumatism. Here you see us standing under the shadow of the Mountain. Deep snow everywhere but lovely hot sunshine. The little Swiss Church is on the right. Kindest remembrances &c. E Luard’. [Edith Luard]
