Soldiers during First World War. Possibly Royal Army Medical Corps (information from Ian Hook,formerly of Essex Regiment Museum). Small group marching in Newland Street. Some civilians with pram. Buildings include, left to right, 12 Newland Street, 10 Newland Street, 8 Newland Street, 6 Newland Street, 4 Newland Street (Avenue House, with windows in roof), 2 Newland Street (Newbury House). On rght are trees along front of the Grove.
