Stairs inside the ‘new’ Grove, Newland Street, re-used from the old Grove

Taken: Probably 1950s approx, Source: De Trense, Winifred, Ref: M473

Stairs inside the ‘new’ Grove, Newland Street, re-used from the old Grove. They were a bit too tall, so there was a step down from the top of them. The old Grove was demolished in the 1930s and this new Grove made out of the former stable block.
