A B12 steam train and the signal box. The train may have stopped for the photograph. At the rear of the train is a Pullman coach. The houses on the right are in Albert Road. On the left the Maldon line turns off. Coming out of Witham towards Colchester, the goods line turned off first to the right, and then the Maldon line turned off. It followed a big loop round.
