The Grove, Newland Street. Called ‘north view’ but actually from the north-west. Front entrance visible on right. Demolished 1932 and the outbuildings made into another house. Postmark 23 December 1906. Addressed to Miss Whitelock, Everley[?] Hall, Brackley, Northants’. Message reads ‘Dear Dora, Am waiting patiently for your promised letter. I wish you a very happy Xmas. Will write for the New Year. I went across London with Will & Alice. Love from Daisy’.
