Train pulled by diesel locomotive with station behind

Taken: 1954-1960, Ref: M2247

Train pulled by diesel locomotive, travelling towards Colchester, with railway station behind. On left is Easton Road. On right is the brick hut for ashes on the Braintree line. See M2252 for coloured version of same photo. John Newman advised that diesels probably arrived in the late 1950s.
