Left to right, part of 72 Newland Street (Davies), 70 Newland Street (Clarkes), 68 Newland Street (B Farthing), 66 Newland Street (part probably wine shop), buildings in what is now Coach House Way, 64 Newland Street (Bellamy, chemist), 62 Newland Street, 60 Newland Street, 58 Newland Street, 56 Newland Street, 54 Newland Street, 52 Newland Street (last two tall, red brick, the Wilderness), [44-50 are more or less out of sight], 42 Newland Street, 40 Newland Street (by traffic lights). 54, 52 and 42 were demolished c 1966-67.
